29 CFR 1915.152(a): The employer did not provide or ensure each affected employee with the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the eyes, face, head, extremities, torso, and respiratory system, including protective clothing, protective barriers, personal fall protection equipment, and life saving equipment, meeting the applicable provisions of Subpart I, wherever employees were exposed to work activity hazards that required the use of PPE: (a) Worksite - Seawall: Where employees perform vessel dismantling tasks at the seawall and exposed to a fall of approximately 13 feet to the surface below the employees were not protected by a protective barriers or personal fall protection. (b) Vessels afloat: Where employees perform vessel dismantling tasks at or near the edge of the vessels and exposed to a fall of approximately 8 feet to the surface below the employees were not protected by a protective barriers or personal fall protection.
