29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(2)(ii): The employer's hazard communication program did not include methods the employer will use to inform the other employer(s) of any precautionary measures that need to be taken to protect employees during the workplace's normal operations and in foreseeable emergencies: a) Welding area, on or about 8/3/16: TTA did not inform welders of LMC Contractors performing maintenance and repair work of the hazards of prolonged maintenance welding activity for an entire shift of the hazards associated with materials being welded nor did TTA provide ventilation for the control of such hazards. The written hazard communication program did not address communication of hazards to employees of outside employers. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
