29 CFR 1910.1026(j)(1)(i):The employer did not ensure that all surfaces were maintained as free as practicable of accumulations of chromium (VI): On May 14, 2024, and at times prior thereto; the employer did not ensure that surfaces employees regularly contact were free as practicable of accumulations of chromium (VI): a) The bathroom doorknob adjacent to the mechanic's shop area was found to be contaminated with 0.263 micrograms of hexavalent chromium; b) The coffee pot area beside the work bench was found to be contaminated with 0.197 micrograms of hexavalent chromium; c) The microwave in the breakroom was found to be contaminated with 0.265 micrograms of hexavalent chromium; d) The microwave bench in the breakroom was found to be contaminated with 0.311 micrograms of hexavalent chromium; e) The right side of the back work bench in the mechanic's shop area was contaminated with 1.255 micrograms of hexavalent chromium.
