29 CFR 1910.272(g)(4): The employer did not provide equipment for rescue operations, which was specifically suited for the bin, silo, or tank being entered: (a)Esco Industries, Inc. dba Performance Seed at 854 Northwestern Ave., Midland SD 57552: On and before November 15, 2016, the employer did not develop and implement the means, procedures, and practices necessary for rescue operations specifically suited for the bins, silos, or tanks being entered. Employees were required to enter bins with no rescue equipment on site or coordination with the local volunteer fire department. This condition exposed employees to engulfment and atmospheric hazards.
