29 CFR 1910.1026(i)(4)(i): Employees were allowed to consume food or beverages at a worksite where chromium (VI) was present; however, the employer did not ensure that the eating and drinking areas were maintained as free as practicable of chromium (VI): a) Main shop: On May 14, 2024, and at times prior thereto; wipe sample results indicated the presence of chromium (VI). Results: Coffee pot area - 0.197 micrograms, right work bench - 1.255 micrograms, and bathroom doorknob - 0.263 micrograms. b) Break Area: On May 14, 2024, and at times prior thereto; wipe sample results indicated the presence of chromium (VI). Results: Microwave - 0.265 micrograms, and microwave bench - 0.311 micrograms. Note* Abatement certification is required for this item.
