29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure. On or about January 10, 2024, extension cords (flex wiring) were observed used as a substitute for fixed wiring: a.) By the main east door, an extension cord, used to provide power to a light fixture, was zip-tied to conduit. b.) In the spraying area, an extension cord, used to provide power to a space heater, was zip-tied to conduit. c.) In the saw area, an extension cord was wrapped behind beams. d.) In the CNC area, an extension cord, used to provide power to cameras, was wrapped around beams.
