29 CFR 1910.147(c)(8): Lockout or tagout shall be performed only by the authorized employees who are performing the servicing or maintenance: On January 27, 2023, at a facility located 502 E. Linden Street in Abbotsford, WI; the employer did not ensure that each employee performing setup was isolating and verifying all energy sources on their production equipment.� Employees were exposed to caught-in and struck-by hazards associated with unexpected machine start-up or release of energy sources, such as, but not limited to, electrical, pneumatic, and gravitational.
