29 CFR 1910.1025 (i) (4) (iii): Employee(s) exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit (PEL), without regard to the use of respirators, were not required to wash their hands and face prior to eating, drinking, smoking or applying cosmetics: 900 Jeffco Executive Drive, Imperial: Employer is exposing employees to hazardous airborne conditions. Employees who are exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit of 50 micrograms per cubic meter of air are not required to wash hands and face prior to eating and drinking. On 11/07/2017 an employee who was the "trainer" was exposed to airborne lead at twice the permissible exposure limit (PEL) of 50 micrograms of lead per cubic meter of air as determined by personal air sampling conducted by OSHA. The exposure level obtained was 110 micrograms of air borne lead per cubic meter of air calculated on 8-hour time weighted average basis. Sampling was conducted for 306 minutes. The employee was not required to wash hands and face prior to drinking, eating, or smoking.
