29 CFR 1910.254(d)(1): Workmen assigned to operate or maintain arc welding equipment were not acquainted with the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.254(d) and 29 CFR 1910.252(a), (b), and (c): a) Welding area, on or about 7/14/16: Employees operating MIG, TIG, Flux core, plasma cutting and, arc-ing equipment were not trained on nor acquainted with the welding standard requirements as contained in 29 CFR 1910.254(d) and 252(a), (b) and (c ) including information on the proper use of ventilation equipment, eye protection and special requirements for welding on metals containing hazardous alloys such as cadmium, zinc and lead. b) Fabrication area, on or about 7/14/16: Employees operating MIG and TIG equipment were not trained on nor acquainted with the welding standard requirements as contained in 29 CFR 1910.254(d) and 252(a), (b) and (c ) including information on the proper use of ventilation equipment, eye protection and special requirements for welding on metals containing hazardous alloys. Abatement documentation must be submitted for this item
