29 CFR 1910.134(f)(2): Employee(s) using tight-fitting facepiece respirators were not fit tested prior to initial use of the respirator: On or about October 8, 2014, in the blasting department, respirator fit testing was not provided to employees who were wearing Saf-T-Fit N95 filtering facepiece respirators for tasks associated with abrasive blasting, including dry sweeping and shoveling used blasting media into buckets for reloading the blasting hopper, cleaning the blast booth, and shoveling out the dust collector for the baghouse, exposing employees to the inhalation hazards of silica.
