29 CFR 1910.147(c)(6)(i)(B): The periodic inspection of the energy control procedure was not conducted to correct any deviations or inadequacies identified: On the kill floor, the employer is failing to ensure deviations and/or inadequacies discovered through an energy control procedure periodic inspection are being corrected. This violation was most recently documented in relation to the split saw platform, where the written energy control procedure in effect was not in agreement with the level of safety precautions known to be needed, and being used by some employees.
