The employer had not developed and implemented a written silica exposure control plan. 1) Employee #1 (stone polisher) performed stone polishing operations and was exposed to Respirable Crystalline Silica at 7.6 times the permissible exposure limit. The employee's eight-hour time-weighted average (8-hour TWA) was 380 micrograms/ meter cubic. 2) Employee #2 (stone polisher) performed stone polishing operations and was exposed to Respirable Crystalline Silica at 5.6 times the permissible exposure limit. The employee's eight-hour time-weighted average (8-hour TWA) was 280 micrograms/ meter cubic. 3) Employee #3 (stone polisher) performed stone polishing operations and was exposed to Respirable Crystalline Silica at 27.3 times the permissible exposure limit. The employee's eight-hour time-weighted average (8-hour TWA) was 1400 micrograms/ meter cubic. 4) Employee #4 (stone polisher) performed stone polishing operations and was exposed to Respirable Crystalline Silica at 2.15 times the permissible exposure limit. The employee's eight-hour time-weighted average (8-hour TWA) was 110 micrograms/ meter cubic.
