29 CFR 1910.1025(j)(3)(i)(B): Medical examinations and consultations for lead were not performed prior to assignment for each employee being assigned for the first time to an area in which airborne concentrations of lead are at or above the action level: a) Repro/Engineered Resin Department - On or about 10/27/22, medical examinations and consultations for lead were not performed prior to assignment to an area where airborne concentrations of lead exceeded the action level. A Material Handler was exposed to 50 ug/m3 of lead; this is exposure is 1.5 times the reduced PEL of 33.33 ug/m3 for employees working 12-hour shifts.
