29 CFR 1910.119(l)(4): Process safety information was not updated when a process change covered by 29 CFR 1910.119(l) occurred: a. Machine Room - On or about 14 December 2021, the employer had conducted MOC to change the condenser coils from steel coils to a stainless steel without updating the PSI to reflect the changes in the materials of construction or design basis of the change which was not documented, failure to properly document the changes to the process equipment in the PSI can result in inadvertent mixing, incompatible materials and degradation of the process equipment leading to a release of anhydrous ammonia, exposing employees to fire, explosions, or chemical reaction to inhalation and contact hazards of the ammonia. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
