29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i): Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings were not effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment: (a) PRODUCTION AREA, METAL DEPARTMENT - Employees operated the General Electric C-45 Bliss Power Press, and the operators panel contained multiple holes near the controls where employees were exposed to live electrical conductors, on or about October 8, 2021. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
