29 CFR 1926.552(a)(2): Rated load capacities, recommended operating speeds, and special hazard warnings or instructions were not posted on cars and platforms: (a)C & C Construction, Inc. at 82 Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, Hazel SD 57242: On or about and at times prior to May 22, 2020, the employer did not ensure that rated load capacities, recommended operating speeds, and special hazard warning or instructions were posted on the material hoist system consisting of a Sasgen Derrick Co. winch, Predator 670 cc V-Twin Horizontal Engine, and 55-gallon drum being used for materials and personnel. This condition exposed employees to fall, struck-by and crushing hazards associated with overloading and improper use of company supplied equipment.
