29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(4)(iii): Employee(s) exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit (PEL), without regard to the use of respirators, were not required to wash their hands and face prior to eating, drinking, smoking or applying cosmetics. a) On July 19, 2017, eWorks Electronic Services, Inc. did not ensure that employees who were exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit, washed their hands and face prior to eating or drinking. Employees on the Cathode Ray Tube Line disassembled Cathode Ray Tube monitors by manually separating the lead-containing funnel glass using hammers, axes and wire cutters.
