29 CFR 1910.1052(k)(1)(iii): The employer did not include methylene chloride in the hazard communication program established to comply with hazard communication standard (HCS) (1910.1200) and did not ensure each employee was trained in accordance with the requirements of HCS and paragraph (l) of this section: (a) On and before 02/08/2017, throughout spray area, for the employee wearing a dust mask while spraying duct work with adhesive containing ingredients such as, but not limited to, methylene chloride. Employee was exposed to methylene chloride at a short term exposure limit (STEL) of 178.740 ppm which has a severity of approximately 1.43 times the short term exposure limit (STEL) of 125.000 ppm. The sample was taken over a 15-minute period. The employer did not train employees on the hazards of methylene chloride.
