29 CFR 1910.215(b)(9): The distance between the abrasive wheel periphery(s) and the adjustable tongue or the end of the safety guard peripheral member at the top exceeded one fourth inch. (a) Maintenance Shop: On or about June 25, 2015, and times prior, the 2012 6 inch Dewalt bench grinder, Serial Number 45-YL78376, used by maintenance employees to grind down and make parts for the rides had tongue guard openings of a 1/2 inch on left abrasive wheel and 3/8 inch on the right abrasive wheel. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ITEM
