29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(iii): Flexible cords and cables were not connected to devices and fittings so that strain relief was provided that would prevent pull from being directly transmitted to joints or terminal screws: Adequate strain relief was not provided for the following electrical chain hoist assembly control wiring. a. On May 5, 2015, the two ton chain hoist assembly used at the continuous caster spray chamber repair area had pendant control wiring at the hoist block that did not have strain relief. b. On May 8, 2015, the two ton chain hoist assembly used at the Mazak CNC lathe located in the roll shop had pendant control wiring at the hoist block that did not have strain relief.
