29 CFR 1926.1101(g)(1)(iii): The employer did not use work practices in all operations covered by 29 CFR 1926.1101, regardless of the levels of exposure, in the form of prompt clean-up and disposal of wastes and debris contaminated with asbestos, in leak-tight containers: (a) Former Hotel Property at 677 Roosevelt Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 - On or about December 20th, 2024, Concrete Construction Company did not promptly clean up and dispose of demolition debris contaminated with asbestos. Construction debris became contaminated upon demolishing floor tile, sheet vinyl, mastic, window glazing, and duct material, which contained up to 60% chrysotile asbestos. Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
