29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (a) Spray Finishing Department ? On or about May 16, 2024, the employer did not fully document its hazard communication program and training to employees within and adjacent to the spray finishing department on how to access SDS sheets related to xylene, PSX 700 Cure and other PPG paint products being actively used in the spraying operation. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
