29 CFR 1910.219(d)(1): Pulley(s) with part(s) seven feet or less from the floor or work platform were not guarded in accordance with the requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910.219(m) and (o): a. On or about March 11, 2021, at an elevated trash conveyor motor of the metal sorting line, there was no guard for two pulleys that were less than 7 feet from the platform/catwalk floor. Employees were exposed to amputation and caught-by hazards from unguarded pulleys. b. On or about March 11, 2021, at an elevated conveyor motor near the end of the ferrous metal sorting line, there was no guard for two pulleys that were less than 7 feet from the platform/catwalk floor. c. On or about March 11, 2021, at conveyor motor under under a shaker of the ferrous metal sorting line, there was no guard for two pulleys that were less than 7 feet from the ground.
