Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 008A Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Examination. Electric equipment shall be free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. Safety of equipment shall be determined using the following considerations: a)On or about 8/22/2018 an employer did not provide electric equipment free from recognized hazards exposing employees to serious harm. The facilities roof was leaking in such areas as but not limited to the first floor, builder assembly area, above the dust extractors next to the south wall of the facility and the north wall ceiling next to the Beiss routers, allowing water to come in through the ceiling tiles onto the live electrical components such as main circuit breakers, power sources, junction boxes and control panels exposing employees to electrocution hazards.
