29 CFR 1910.1025(i)(1): The employer did not ensure that food or beverage was not present, or consumed; tobacco products were not present, or used; and cosmetics were not applied in areas where employees were exposed to lead in excess of the permissible exposure limit. a) On July 19, 2017, eWorks Electronic Services, Inc. did not ensure that beverage was not present or consumed in areas where employees were exposed to lead above the permissible exposure limit. Employees on the Cathode Ray Tube Line drank water at their workstations where they disassembled Cathode Ray Tube monitors by manually separating the lead-containing funnel glass using hammers, axes and wire cutters.
