29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: In the following locations, on, or about, February 8, 2017, flexible cord was used in lieu of permanent wiring: A. 11 Cody Street, Booth 7: An orange and black extension cord was run through the booth to energize the Bugo traverse unit for the plasma gun. B. 11 Cody Street, Booth 5: An orange extension cord was used to energize the overhead light fixture in the booth. C. 11 Cody Street, Booth 5: An orange extension cord was used to energize the Pittsburg electric hoist used to lift fixtures in the booth. D. 11 Cody Street, Booth 4: Two extension cords were energized through a relocatable power tap to provide power to equipment in the booth. The first extension cord energized an overhead light fixture. The second extension cord was wired into a knockout box with a single pole switch and that had a second section of cord that run over the Bugo traverse unit. E. 11 Cody Street, Booth 3: An extension cord was used to energize the lights in the booth. F. 11 Cody Street, Inspection Bench: A flood light that was mounted in the ceiling and through the drop ceiling was energized through a flexible cord that had been wired into a column mounted light switch. G. 144 South Street, Grit Blast: An overhead light fixture was energized through an orange extension cord that ran up the wall.
