29 CFR 1910.305(g)(2)(ii): Flexible cords were not used only in continuous lengths without splice or tap: a) In the production area, the orange black power cord was severely cut and frayed and wrapped with black tape on several places on the cord, exposing employees to the hazard of electrical burns. b) West side of the shop, the yellow extension cord supplying power to the portable lamp, was severely cut and frayed and wrapped with black tape, exposing employees to the hazard of electrical burns.
