29 CFR 1926.502(h)(1): The employer did not did not designate a competent person to monitor the safety of other employees and/or did not ensure that the safety monitor complied with the requirements listed in (h)(1)(i) through (h)(1)(v) of this section: On or about August 23, 2014 and prior to that time located at various roof areas employees were performing low sloped associated roofing work on an approximate 98' x 98' roof deck with unprotected sides or edges without conventional fall protection and at times during roofing work activities such as material disposal at the roof edge in areas where the warning line(s) were and at times were not in place without the employer designating a competent person to monitor the safety of the employees exposing employees to fall potentials in excess of 30'.
