29 CFR 1910.213(f)(2): Self-feed circular ripsaw(s) were not provided with sectional non-kickback fingers for the full width of the feed rolls: (a) Diehl #75 Straight Line Rip Saw - The kickback fingers for the Diehl # 75 straight line rip saw were bent and damaged causing them to wedge against each other and not return to the lowest position after employees ran stock through the saw. The fingers did not function as intended to provide anti-kickback protection. A piece of wood kicked back out of the saw with enough force to damage an insulated steel garage door 24 feet away. Employees were exposed to the condition on or about May 4, 2013. No abatement certification or documentation required.
