Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 008 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.119(j)(3): The employer did not train each employee involved in maintaining the on-going integrity of process equipment in an overview of that process and its hazards and in the procedures applicable to the employee's job tasks to assure that the employee can perform the job tasks in a safe manner: a) Old Acid Room Area - The employer did not train maintenance maintenance personnel who are required to work on or around the Formaldehyde Loading System on the process and the hazards associated with it, on or about September 26, 2012. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
