29 CFR 1910.242(b): Effective chip guarding and personal protective equipment was not used when compressed air was used for cleaning purposes: a. On or about August 29, 2012, in the upper level of the palletizing area of Warehouse 7, employees using the air guns that had a psi of 90 -100 to blow dust and glass particles were wearing safety glasses but they were not wearing face shields or long sleeves as protective clothing, exposing themselves to the hazard of being cut by the glass particles as they go airborne and strike employees.
