Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable means of abatement is to install temporary bracing on all metal plate-connected wood trusses in accordance with Building Component Safety Information BCSI 1-03 Guide to Good Practices for Handling, Installing & Bracing of Metal Plate Connected Wood Trusses, Wood Truss Council of America, the Truss Plate Institute, or the truss manufacturer.
