29 CFR1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area. Facility: On or about March 6, 2024 and times prior to, the employer did not provide training and information to the employees on a hazard communication program whereas, employees were required to use chemicals and substances such as but not limited to: isobutyl alcohol, isopropyl alcohol, acids, degreasers, cleaners, rust inhibitors, hydraulic oils, lubricants and compressed gases such as hydrogen/argon blends.
