29 CFR 1910.219(f)(3):Sprocket wheels and chains which were seven (7) feet or less above floors or platforms were not enclosed: At a facility located at 127 Claxton avenue, Carthage, MO 64836, employees were exposed to hazards that included caught in, amputation and crushed by. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to work near an exposed sprocket wheel and chain that powered the lower conveyor, near the lower infeed, directly adjacent to the elevated catwalk of the AST palletizer.
