29 CFR 1926.761(b): The employer did not train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of this section. The employer shall institute a training program and ensure employee participation in the program. a) On or about 12/15/2023, the site located at Baillie Lumber, Railroad Street, Smyrna, NY 13464: Employees installing metal roofing were not trained in the use and operation of the personal fall arrests systems and horizontal lifelines, the correct procedures for erecting, maintaining, disassembling and inspecting the fall protection systems used on site, procedures to be followed to prevent falls to lower levels, through holes and/or openings and the requirements of this subpart. Employees were exposed to falls of 23 feet.
