29 CFR 1910.303(b)(2): Installation and use. Listed or labeled equipment shall be installed and used in accordance with any instructions included in the listing or labeling. a. On or about December 28, 2023, and at times prior, located in the Battery Room on the battery extractor machine, employees utilized a shop-made flexible extension cord with portable electrical outlet boxes that were not mounted, installed, or utilized in accordance with the listing and labeling instructions for the type of equipment. As a result, employees were exposed to contact with electrical hazards.
