29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s): At a worksite located at 12149 Hartville Road, Licking, MO: The employer failed to protect employees from struck-by and crushing hazards. This was most recently demonstrated on or about December 7, 2023, and at times prior to when employees were allowed to operate powered industrial trucks and had not been taken out of service when the backup signals and alarms for the equipment were not functioning and the employer had not deemed them to be in a safe operating condition.
