29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips. (a) On or about October 2, 2023, located in the Raw room, employees were exposed to caught-in hazards, in that the employer did not use adequate machine guarding to prevent employees from getting their fingers caught in the rotating parts of the mixer machine.
