1926.1101(g)(11)(iv): Material was removed from a roof and was dropped or thrown to the ground. Material that was not carried or passed to the ground by hand, was not lowered to the ground via covered, dust-tight chute, crane or hoist. a) On or about August 22, 2023, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing commercial roofing operations dropped or threw asbestos containing roofing material into a material handling box approximately 6 (six) feet below the working area and used the uncovered material handling box to lower material to the ground.
