29 CFR 1910.151(c):Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) Eden, Inc., Spray booth area, on or about May 18th, 2023 and times prior thereto: Employees performed spray coating of wood products with corrosive liquids including, but not limited to UR Clear Precat Self-S 35SH (LFC201G) within the companies spray booth area. Employees did not have access in the work area to a suitable facility for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
