29 CFR 1910.147(c)(1): The employer did not establish a program consisting of energy control procedures, employee training and periodic inspections to ensure that before any employee performs any servicing or maintenance on a machine or equipment where the unexpected energizing, startup or release of stored energy could occur and cause injury. This violation was observed on or about June 13, 2023, the employer does not have an established energy control program, including procedures, training and inspections, for employee use and reference while conducting maintenance on equipment. Pursuant to 29 CFR 1903.19, within (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation describing the steps taken to ensure development of an energy control program.
