29 CFR 1910.178(q)(1): Any power-operated industrial truck not in safe operating condition was not taken out of service, and/or repairs were not made by authorized personnel: The employer was failing to protect employees from struck by hazards. This was most recently documented on February 16, 2023 at 417 West Railway, Bruning, Nebraska. Employees were operating a powered industrial truck in the maintenance shop. The powered industrial truck's battery was not secured, hoses were cracked and worn, and the amp gauge was missing.
