1910.303(b)(7) Mechanical execution of work. Electric equipment shall be installed in a neat and workmanlike manner. (a) Wardwell 16-Carrier Braiding Machine 29 - The employer used wire to hold together the motor starter box, used by employees to turn the machine on/off, exposing employees to an electrical hazard, on or about April 14, 2022. (b) Wardwell 16-Carrier Braiding Machine 12 - The employer used duct tape to hold together the motor starter box, used by employees to turn the machine on/off, exposing employees to an electrical hazard, on or about April 14, 2022. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and state employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
