29 CFR 1926.1427(a): General requirements for operators. The employer did not ensure that each operator is trained, certified/ licensed, and evaluated in accordance with this section before operating any equipment covered under subpart CC, except for the equipment listed in paragraph (a)(2) of this section. On or about 20 July 2021, at the Estate Donoe construction site, St. Thomas, VI. An unlicensed and unevaluated crane operator was allowed to use a crane to lift pre-fabricated concrete walls. NOTE: Certification of abatement must be submitted for this citation item as required by 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
