29 CFR 1926.502(d)(21): Personal fall arrest systems were not inspected prior to each use for wear, damage, and other deterioration, and/or defective components were not removed from service: a) Brilliant Building & Design LLC worksite located at 98 US Highway 46, Budd Lake, NJ An employee performing framing activities from the roof was exposed to fall hazards in excess of 14 ft. to the ground below while using a personal fall arrest system that was not inspected for damage and removed from service. The webbing was cut and the snaphook did not fully close. Violation observed on or about 07/15/2021.
