29 CFR 1926.502(d)(5): Non-locking type snaphooks were used as part of a personal fall arrest system: a) Brent Spence Bridge, I-75 Northbound, between Covington KY and Cincinnati, OH. On or about April 26, 2021 and times prior to, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards greater than 14 feet, in that the lanyards workers that were sandblasting and painting from the containment area were using were attached to the Horizontal Life Line (HLL) with carabiners.
