29 CFR 1910.303(b)(7)(i):Unused openings in boxes, raceways, auxiliary gutters, cabinets, equipment cases, or housings shall be effectively closed to afford protection substantially equivalent to the wall of the equipment. a. On or about April 20, 2021 and at times prior, located in suite C, near the battery charging station, the employer did not ensure that unused openings in circuit breaker boxes were effectively closed at locations of circuit breakers 1,3,5,7,9,11 and 2,4,6,8,10,12 in General Electric A-Series II panelboard number AXB7, thereby exposing employees to a 480 volt electrical contact hazard.
