29 CFR 1926.454(a):The employer shall have each employee who performs work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards. The training shall include the following areas, as applicable: a. 136 Summit Avenue Jersey City, NJ Employees performing work on a tubular welded framed scaffolds and an elevated work platforms were provided with inadequate training and instruction to recognize and mitigate the specific fall hazards associated with conducting this type of work. As a result, employees were exposed to multiple fall hazards. Violation occurred on or about 03/10/2021
