29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(A): Flexible cords and/or cables were used as a substitute for the fixed wiring of a structure: The employer is failing to protect employees from electric shock hazards by using temporary wiring, flexible extension cord, as a substitute for fixed wiring. The most recent occurrence was evident during the inspection conducted on July 10, 2019 at 1200 Centennial Rd., Wayne, NE 68787. The employer is using a flexible extension cord in place of fixed wiring to provide power to a band saw. This configuration has been in place for approximately 6 months.
