29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): At this establishment, the employer had not provided employees with effective information and training, to include pictograms, on hazardous chemicals in their work area as specified in the Revised 2012 Hazard Communication Standard: Employees were exposed to health hazards. Employees engaged in painting and other shop activities using in the Front and Back Shop were exposed to health hazards in that the employer had not provided employees with effective information and training on the hazardous chemicals in their workplace. Hazardous Chemicals used at the workplace include but are not limited to gasoline, oil, Epoxy Primer, Krylon spray paint, hazardous waste, Product Finishes Catalyst, Toluene, Premium Lacquer Thinner, and Jasco Boiled Linseed Oil. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
